EXPERIENCE
Tom came to Jeep & Blazer after serving four years as an Assistant State's Attorney in Kane County, where he gained valuable experience as a trial lawyer and negotiator.
Since joining our firm, Tom has been involved in a broad range of environmental matters, including land use, remediation and redevelopment issues on behalf of numerous municipal and private clients. Tom has "first chaired" some significant and complex matters for the firm, including, most notably, all of the litigation for the firm's client arising out of the Ellsworth Industrial Park Superfund Site.
Tom brings a compassion and understanding to the practice of law that is best summed up by the comments from one of our clients whom Tom represented:
"I would like to give a special word of thanks to Mr. Yu. He has helped make this difficult journey more palatable. He is, in the eyes of my entire family, a soft-spoken, kind and very bright man of integrity and professional grace. He kept us well informed and was always willing to answer any and all questions. I personally appreciate the in-depth collaborative research, preparation of numerous documents in defense of our cause and his final argument that wrought the ultimate victory."
